Do banks have access to information on my student loans?

I want to have my student loans consolidated but my 6 month grace period hasn’t expired. I don’t know exactly how much I took out in student loans; if I go to my local bank, and give them information such as my Social Security Number, will they be able to find out what loans I used, how much I borrowed, and set up a consolidated loan for me?

Since she hasn’t kept any of her paperwork, she has no idea who is servicing all of her loans. What is the easiest way to get this information?
