Online classes vs On Campus – which is better?

I want to start taking Computer Networking classes and found some classes offered online by a local college in the area. This would be convenient for me because I use public transportation to go to school.

I’ve never taken any online classes before so I don’t know what to expect. What are the pros & cons to taking online classes? My main concern would be the hands on part of these type of courses. Any feedback would be appreciated…

I currently attend University of Phoenix online.

For me online classes are a lot harder than traditional classes. There is a TON more writing. You are responsible for your own education, so if you are a bad procrastinator, online is not a good idea.

benefit is flexibility in when and where you can take classes.
