If I get a private student loan from a bank or so, do they check with financial aid at my school?

Like are they associted with one another. If you say one thing to get financial aid and say another thing for a private loan, both the financial aid and loan interconnected???? Help!

First of all, if you do contact the "lender" that Tony King suggested, I would warn you to be VERY careful and check this out….you do not want to get caught in something illegal or get scammed.
To answer your original question….there are student loans that lenders get permission from the Financial Aid Office to give you and there are "direct to consumer" loans that have nothing to do with the Financial Aid Office at all. Check with a reputable lender like Citibank or Sallie Mae to see what kinds of loans they have to offer.
