Have student loan and grant/do you add those together when filling your taxes or just the loan?

Filling personal taxes.looking at the w2 from the school and the loan amount in one box and the grant in another, but the tax form doesn’t have a spot for a grant just tuition.? sounds crazy but help LOL please and thank you

  1. Grants aren’t considered income and don’t qualify you for the education credit (refundable in certain cases - if you meet criteria). So, only put the loan information.
