    yes you can. but i would try to avoid loans at all costs. you will be poor at the end. thankfully i have no loans i just got enough money to cover my tuition for the next four years, even if i didn’t i would not take out loans. if you want extra money ask the university for a job. go to your schools site and look for the jobs that are available there. sure it pays minimum wage (some positions pay more), but you wont be in debt in the end. i work 12 hours a week at my university and get almost $400 a month. if you want to be thousands in debt then take out loans, or get a job at the university and have money to spend and not be in debt. but that’s your choice. good luck.

    Sure, just make sure you put down that you’re a minority, otherwise you won’t get approved.

    A Federal Student Loan is a good option if you need extra money to help pay for other expenses associated with pursuing a college education, i.e. food, rent, personal expenses.

    You should talk with a counselor in the Financial Aid Office of the college you are attending or will be attending to discuss what types of aid are a part of your financial aid package and if you will really need the loan. If so, then how to apply.

    You might also think about alrernate student loans. Do some research and figure out the suiting one for you.
